【上位】 the acetylated derivative of salicylic acid; used as an analgesic anti-inflammatory drug (trade names Bayer, Empirin, and St. Joseph) usually taken in tablet form; used as an antipyretic; slows clotting of the blood by poisoning platelets サリチル酸のアセチル化誘導体。鎮痛消炎剤（商標名はバイエルまたはエンピリン）で通例錠剤の形態で飲む。解熱剤として使用される。血小板の力を減ずることにより、血の凝固を遅らせる。
